2007 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 4-Door
DON'T MISS OUT! This car is going to sell!!!!
2007 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 4-Door with just over 78,000 miles. Blue with Light Grey Leather Interior. Car is equipped with a 224hp 4.6 Liter 8 Cylinder, with 4 Speed Automatic Transmission and Traction Control.
Car has Power Windows, Door Locks, 8-Way Seats, Remote Heated Mirrors and Trunk Release, Cruise, Tilt, Rear Defogger and Air Conditioning. It also has an AM/FM/CD Stereo. Keyless/Keypad Entry (only 1 Fob).
The Good: Low miles, approx. 6,000/yr. All lights and accessories including the horn, wipers, air (see note below), and heat are in working order. Very minimal rust, the only place of note is the rear Passenger door area by the wheel well. Runs good and stops straight. Has a new battery. The Uniroyal Tiger Paw Tires have good tread. Aluminum Alloy wheels are good (center caps have moderate oxidation). The interior is good, with just the arm rest and leather seat on the driver’s side needing cleaned. Front carpet just needs a light cleaning.
The Bad: It has the usual minor nicks and scuffs from 13 years on the road, but it also suffers a few other cosmetic maladies typical of vehicles with elderly owners. The front bumper has scuffs on both corners, also the front has been touched up (wrong color blue) on both sides of the grill and just above the front plate. Hood as a few very minor dents and there is a small spot on the front of the roof. Some minor scuffs on the driver side rear bumper. It appears the passenger side of the car may have gotten “too cozy” with something. There are dents/creases in both the front and back door near the “B” Pillar, the plastic cover on the back of the mirror is missing and the lower rocker cover is missing as well - check the driver side photo (with the cover), versus the pass. side (missing). This is the side of the car that has a rust spot as previously noted (and the wrong blue paint touch-up). NOTE: While the air blows cold, I was unable to get it to blow through the upper vents, it would only blow out of the heater duct. There is also a small round hole just above the glove box that had "something" mounted there, it is pushed behind the dash currently - not sure what its purpose is (I noticed not all Marquis have this.).
This is a low mileage car that would make a great second car, just some small paint touch-up with the right color this time… and a couple minor parts and you will have nice land yacht to drive. If you have never driven…. floated…. in one of these boats you owe it to yourself.
