Auction #259M -Transitional Design Jet Art Paintings by Prince Jurgen von Anhalt
You could own one of these paintings by Prince Jurgen von Anhalt, was one of the few artists in art history to invent a new art form. These incredible paintings use a jet engine as the paintbrush! This creates a truly unique and rare type of art, the number of pieces created being limited by the logistics and expense to create them. They have been sold for many tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Prince von Anhalt didn't use a regular artist's brush to create these one of a kind works. The Jet Art process requires the heat and high velocity winds of a jet engine. Jet Art paintings have been hailed by art critics worldwide for their beauty, scale and the uniqueness of the media. His technique involved directing paint into a force several times greater than hurrican winds where the heat from the jet engine would weld and blend the paint onto the reinforced canvas. Jurgen appeared on all major networks including CBS, NBC, ABC, BBC, and the Discovery Channel. The piece featured on the Discovery Channel is included in this auction.
