Meissen Figurines Ceres and Three Cherubs Agriculture Model D 3 Acier - Meissen Most Remarkable Figurines Roman Goddess Of Agriculture  : Allegory Of Agriculture, designed by Michel Victor Acier (1736-1799) Manufactory: Meissen Hallmarked: Blue Meissen Sword Mark -model number D 3, porcelain, glossy finish, multicolored painted Technique: handmade porcelain Style: Rococo  Acier was born in 1736 at Versailles, he was trained as sculptor in Paris; the sculptor went to porcelain manufactory of Meissen in the year 1762:  Finally Acier went as Royal Saxon Model Master to Dresden in the year 1780. Detailed description: The goddess holding a sickle as well as ears of corn is overseeing three cherubs which are busy with some work:   Bergmann (Erlangen, Germany) 2014, catalogue number 340 on page 177.
